Vitadeps is a feed supplement, obtained by the beta-carotene biomass extraction with sunflower oil. Vitadeps is a homogenous free-flowing powder and a small-plate mass.
Vitadeps contains:
• beta-carotene – 0.5–3.0%
• lipids – 20–40%, close by the composition to fatty acids of the sunflower oil
• crude protein – 30%
• vitamin В2 – 9-10 mcg/g
• vitamin Е – 200-220 mcg/g.
Recommendations for the Vitadeps use have been developed by the Lvov Scientific-and-research Institute of Veterinary Preparations and Feed Supplements No.15-14/65.
The effectiveness of the feed supplement Vitadeps was evaluated by the scientists of the Virology, Pathoanatomy and Veterinary-and-sanitary Expertise Department of the Sumy Agrarian University (2004) as the immunostimulants during the vaccination of the young poultry.
The preparations based on β-carotene are recommended for use for the laying stock chickens starting from a day age, to increase both the poultry productive properties and the protective mechanisms of their organisms. With the aim to decrease the stress-inducing events and to increase the immunity level it is recommended to use the preparations during the poultry vaccination against the Gumboro disease, infectious bronchitis and the Newcastle disease.
